Vocal, Guitar, Bass and Engineering/Recording Lessons

Over the span of the 20+ years of singing, playing guitar, electric bass, harmonica, Irish whistle and being a recording artist, I have learned a few things about lessons, they are only valuable if the student can afford to learn all the basics and learn how to teach themselves.  I feel that unless these things are accomplished lessons will be a large waste of time and money.

I have taught many students and I have learned that just like there is no one way to teach there is also no one price to charge and so I offer lessons in the above instruments by donation.  What does that mean?  Nothing in this world is free and so I require some from of payment for the lessons I provide but my offer is that each student pay what they can afford because I want people from all economic situations to have access to learn music so I find this format best.  My suggested rate is $15 per half hour but this is only a suggestion to those who can afford this, if a student can afford less, then that will be fine.  When a student comes in for a lesson they will place their donation in the donation box and the lesson will start.

The lessons are all in my project studio where we can not only go through the lesson but we can also record any part of a lesson or song at anytime.  I also offer video recording as well.  Students must be on time and ready to learn with a good attitude, I personally can't work with continually negative people so having a great attitude will be key.  My studio is a no drugs and no alcohol facility and there is a zero tolerance rule in effect.  This if for the safety and well being of all and I greatly appreciate your understanding is this matter.  You can learn more about my studio on the "Studio" link found in the header.

If you have any questions feel free to send me an email at lessons@williamthomasanderson.com and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
